What do FIP, MIP and GHT mean in your listings?
FIP is female iron pipe thread (threads on the inside), MIP is male iron pipe thread (threads on the outside) and GHT is garden hose thread. Each product name repeats the abbreviation next to the size so you can match the connection.
Are the sizes in the names actual measurements?
Pipe sizes in our product names are nominal names used to identify the part, not measured outside diameters. Exact dimensions, materials and other fine details are confirmed at fulfillment, so contact us if you need to check a fit before ordering.
Do I need thread tape or sealant on threaded joints?
Threaded pipe joints are commonly made up with thread seal tape or pipe thread sealant paste on the male threads. Follow the instructions for the parts you are joining. Details for each item are confirmed at fulfillment.
Can I join threaded fittings to sweat fittings with these parts?
Copper-colored sweat fittings are soldered onto tube. Threaded fittings screw onto threaded pipe or onto adapters made for that purpose. Our listings describe the connection of each part so you can see how it joins to what you already have.
What is the difference between a ball valve and a gate valve?
A ball valve has a lever handle that turns to open or close it. A gate valve has a wheel handle that is turned several times. Both listings show the handle type and the connection.
Will the case assortments contain exactly the pieces shown?
Assortment cases are filled with the types of fittings shown in the product photo, sorted by compartment. The compartment count is shown in the name. Exact sizes, piece counts and thread types are confirmed at fulfillment.
Do you sell to contractors?
Anyone in the United States who is 18 or older can order. Quantity is limited per item per order, so very large jobs may be better placed with a local supply counter.
How much is shipping, and how fast will my order arrive?
Free shipping on every order, with no shipping fee and no handling fee. Orders ship within 1–2 business days, and delivery typically takes 3–7 business days.
What is your refund policy?
