Torvani Pipe & Valve Supplies started from a simple annoyance: product pages for plumbing parts that hide the one thing you need. A ball valve listing that does not say whether the ends are male or female, or a fitting kit that does not say how it is organized, costs a person a second trip to the store. We name the connection type and show the part from a plain angle, so the part in your hand matches the part on the screen. Sizes and other fine details are confirmed at fulfillment.

The catalog is deliberately small. Sixteen products cover the day-to-day jobs that come up around water lines: shutoff valves in several sizes, gold-tone elbows and nipples, copper-colored sweat fittings, supply lines for sinks, hose fittings for the yard, and the wrenches, cutters, tape and sealant that put them together. We would rather carry a short list that we can describe truthfully than a long one padded with near-duplicates.

Every product photo shows the shape of the item on a dark slate bench, with no packaging or lettering to hide behind. When a listing says a case holds assorted gold-tone bushings and plugs, the picture shows that case open. Where a spec could be read two ways, we spell out the abbreviation: FIP means female iron pipe thread, MIP means male iron pipe thread, GHT means garden hose thread.
